Nicely done!

Haha, isn't this the melody from that stamp on the ground song? :D
Anyway, I love the solos, and I believe it's in the same key. You've got some great breakdowns. Looking forward to the end result :D

GrayZ responds:

It is :) It was originally a remix of stamp on the ground by the italobrothers, then f-777, as he does, went a little overboard so we changed the whole song hehe. thanks for the kind words :)

Great instrumentation!

I love the atmosphere you're creating here. It starts already tense at the first few bassnotes. I loved the orchestral elements in the song, the brass really bring up the tension. Perfect chase music :D
Great job man, I loved it. Keep it up! :D

vai90 responds:

Thx a lot! :D

I really hate most hiphop here on NG

I'm not a really big fan of the genre as well, but I love this. I love your flow, you've got some great skills man, the beat sounds clean, clear and not unprofessional at all. You've done really awesome here. fav'd, downloaded.
Keep it up man! :D

Murdaa responds:

thx bro! really appreciate the review and the love. The beat was made by Nc321.newgrounds.com so that goes to himm.

I've always loved this song :D

Along with it's remixes :D
You've really done a great job here.
It starts out really nice, the synths that do the main melody are kinda awkward, but I still liked it somehow. I love how you introduced with those plucks, that was great.
Great use of crashkicks. I liked how you gave the melody a little twist, and it's great that you made a second voice, you don't hear that much in remixes from this song.
Great transition at 1:30. The fade out synth is often something you don't hear in songs on NG, because appearantly people are too lazy to put a few notes in along with a filter, it's nice you did that :D
Good use of hihats, didn't sound standard and cheesy at all, I liked your kick, it had a really nice sound, your claps were nice and subtle as well.
Your synths weren't some overused synths you hear everyday, I liked that about them, apart from the fact that they just sounded good :P
You've done some good mastering on the velocities, it's great to hear good balance in volumes.
Your melodies are really nice, dancey and not too cheesy.
I really liked your outro, it was soothing, slightly awkward and really unique, really well chosen.
Anyway, you did a great job on the song, It's the best remix I've heard of it so far (and believe me, I've heard a lot :P)
Keep it up man, looking forward to hearing more of you!

FunkmasterCatking responds:

Wow, thanks for all the compliments dude!

I don't do fade-outs too often actually so you're kind of right to say that. Haha. I'm glad you think it works well.

I'm really nit-picky about the synths/samples I use, I'm also glad you can appreciate that xD

Thanks for the review!

Nice!

Great sound you got here, I've always loved this song, your rythm and layback is very soothing, It's a great cover! The vocals were slightly awkward, but the cover was really good! :D
Keep it up man!

Wow, you're totally right...

Basshunter's remix really is really really gay, I love this one however, nice and hard! :D

Ironically enough, I gave this a 9 :P

Anyway, I really like your melodies, especially the synths you used.
You really did a good job on that.
It's just two things. First, the title :P Fruity Loops 9 is by far the most unattractive title that can be found on NG. You should give it a cool name, or perhaps something cheesy. Enough to think of! :D
Secondly, there's the beat. The structure is really nice, but the instrumentation is not so great. The kick'll do, but you some sort of rimstick bwump where you could easily place a nice snare or clap.
Anyway, I really liked the song, apart from that weird thing on the afterbeat. You've got a really nice concept here, I'm looking forward to hearing more from you. Keep it up man!

NOICE!

That's some damn impressive work, son! :D
Great beat, and the synth really gave it a more original sound, I liked that.
FIESTA! :D
5/5, downloaded, fav'd

Stavier responds:

Wow, thanx. Never thought you would like this genre that much, but then again, variety is good, which is why I made this. Glad you liked the beat cuz I wuz gonna keep it more simple, but I decided to add more to it. Really glad you liked the synth. Kinda made me feel like I was sailing for some reason. Totally, party time. Haa, thanx for the review & 5/5 & 10/10 & fav & download!!!!!

Great work!

Really nice atmosphere, nice glitch effects, I loved the original chord progressions, and the synths were really really nice.
The kick really fit well in this song, I loved that.
Anyway, really nice breakdowns, cool instrumentation, awesome structure!
Keep it up, man!

Great fan of the song!

I really liked how you used the melodies, I especially loved the lead with the huge portamento, that was great!
I was just a little disappointed, I was hoping it would build to a great drop, with a nice dancebeat and a fine offbeat bass. I found it a shame you didn't turn it into a massive dancefest.
BUT, I really loved the synthesizers and the variations on the main theme, so perhaps, for the sake of the fans, you could take the file and give it a nice kick, snare/clap and some hihats at some points (maybe master that a bit), an offbeat bass and turn it into an awesome dance remix? :D
I'd love to see that!
5/5, to give you room for some improvement :D

DJ-Grapefruit responds:

I really appreciate you comment (and vote ;p), but i'm sorry to have to dissapoint you. I forgot to mention it here, this song is made with the demo version of fl10 and in the demo versions of fl it is impossible to save your project, you can only extract it directly as a song. In other words, once you close fl (this happened accidentally before :() you lose your song and in this case i already closed fl, so i'd have to recreate the song from scratch to edit even a little bit. :(
So i'm really sorry but sadly i can't.
Thanks for the review though :D

I'm an amateur producer that loves melodic music! :D I don't actually give a crap if your mastering is half-assed, as long as it's audible and it's made with some good knowledge of music! :D However, awesome mastering is always a nice extra, right? :D
