Outstanding sir!

This song has a unique feel to it, it's arps are making you want to dance, your kick was moving, you breakdown was absolutely epic.
Your chord progression was a unique one, not overused. I loved you basslines. :D
Great job, keep it up :D

Stavier responds:

Yeah, it's like a feel that your traveling through space as your being chased through the galaxy & fighting aliens, in my opinion. Funny, I just realized I mainly only panned the arps :D Glad you thought the kick was moving, somethin' trancey I wanted to add. I really am glad you liked that break cuz I was like "hmmm... this break has to be perfect." Glad you liked my chord progression. I tried adding a good bass that was to sub like to actually sound more like a bass. Thanx you very much for the review!!!

Amazing!

Great liquid track, I'm looking forward to see the end result. Great soothing beats and those chords you used are outstanding. I'll just fav this track, just to remember myself I have to stay tuned for the end result :D
Great job man, love it!

DJ-Babokon responds:

Thanks for your review! I'll definitely PM you when it's done. :D

Great sound, nice melodies!

First of all, great melodies. The chords were cheesy, but it's about how you use them. And you used them really well.
I love your use of filters, the right moments and right timing.
My only concern is your beat. You could really do something more with that kick. Your kick is pretty weak-sounding. If you put it in the mixer and play around with EQ, mess around with the frequencies, your kick would have a lot more punch and power, making the song more interesting and the pace a little more moving.
Your hihat's could also use some work. Perhaps EQ'ing them or replacing them with a differrent hihat (with less higher frequencies) would sound better. You could also add a subtle open hihat between each kick.
Anyway, they're just suggestions, your melodies and synths are great, just as your song structure. Your beat could just use some work :)
Great job, keep it up! :D

SKILLZmakeKILLZ responds:

Haow u liek dem applez?

Your music could stop the hunger in third world countries! :D
I love your work man, every synth sound perfect, I love your mixing, especially your hard basses :D

F-777 responds:

Thank you so much! Im glad you like the basses =).

Cheesy, but good!

Great sound, accept for the distortion in the end, some compression or a limiter would do good. However, I don't have the feeling that you care about this song anymore :P
Anyway, the chords are cheesy, but Idk about that anymore, because I think it's about how you use them. And you used them pretty well :D
I like your use of filters, keep it up man :D
But please make full songs :D

Amazing

Freaking awesome man! I loved the intro, buildup, drop, I loved it once more, I loved your breakdown, your samples, your second drop, the brass you put in, your final drop and outro. And that 3 times more.
Your mixing was great, I really liked your sound. I havn't got any constructive criticism for you, so I'll just give you these 15 awesomepoints.
10/10, 5/5
Great job, keep it up man :D

TheRealSam responds:

Thanks a lot!!! :D
Quite stuggled a lot with the breakdown stuff, had to compose it from scratch and add it to the original song without it sounding awkwardly placed x) So glad you liked it! :)

Sick!

Great track man!
The intro created a lot of atmosphere, huge sound.
The snare you used during the buildup sounded slightly inapropriate.
I loved your drop, it was unique. The part that follows up is great, it was nicely melodic and I really enjoyed your melodies.
The outro was absolutely epic, doesn't build off, makes you wanna listen again :P
Anyway, the drumbeats in the intro and breaks were great.
I loved it man. Great work, keep it up.
5/5

Good loop

You've got some good percussion and synths here. Just that there are two points in the song where there's a horrible offnote, that actually screws it all. It's on the third chord, you've got three notes, C# D# C#, the D# should be a D, or else it's not in tune. But since you made it with the demo, I hope you get the full version, because this has some potential :D

Grooveh

There were a few things going through my head in the first two seconds:
- Damn, that hihat sounds like it's gonna be a basic basicsong.
- Oh, wait, that kick is nice and punchy.
- Hey, that snare is also great and, well, snappy?

Then the guitar came in and I was convinced that this song would be a full minute of awesomeness.
The panning you put on the guitar was really cool, I liked that. The bass was really groovy.
The guitar was perfectly mixed and played, it couldn't be any better.
Nicely done man, really smooth. Now you can keep your anger, so you can ram your fist in someone elses gay face :D I hope...
Anyway, Great job man, no huge instrumentation, but every instrument was perfectly done and it didn't miss anything

Oh Lawd!

That pluck is amazing man! I could listen to it for hours :D
I liked that bass that kicked in halfway, did you use the hardcore effect for? It kinda sounds like it :D
One more thing, in my humble opinion the piano could use a little more volume :]
Great song man, I'm looking forward to the finished product :D

Or4nges responds:

:D Thanks man! The pluck took alot of tweaking lol.

Also don't even get me started on the bass lmao, I barely even understand what I did. .. Ok i'll tell you. I used like 6 EQ's, and two formant filters. One set to "E" and one to "A" and I automated between the two using the little level knob on the right of the effect in the mixer. BUUUT, I also had to do a ridiculous amount of tweaking in harmless, and automated the phase and a bunch of other stuff within the VST as well.
Too long, didn't read? I automated the shit out of it :P

And i'll consider bampin up the piano. Thanks dude! I'll get it finished as soon as possible :P

I'm an amateur producer that loves melodic music! :D I don't actually give a crap if your mastering is half-assed, as long as it's audible and it's made with some good knowledge of music! :D However, awesome mastering is always a nice extra, right? :D
