Excellent work!

I loved it, it might be a cheesy dance song, but I'm so glad that I finally stumbled on one that's mastered properly :D
Great job on that mastering, it's great! The vocals were really cool man, great addition.
Only one point of criticism, and that's when the beat first kicks in at 0:29, you use a snare from the beginning over every kick. I recommend removing those for about the half or 3/4 of that section (the bass kick-in until the next break), it gives the song a lot more build and it makes it start with a nice kickbeat, giving you (as said) more opportunity to build.
Anyway, great variation, nice synth choice, great mastering, good breaks.
Great job man! Keep it up! :D
5/5

DJT3chnic responds:

Thanks man! =). I personally really like the effect the snare gives the kick, but I guess I agree with you, because it does kinda cover up when the build is coming. Anyways, I appreciate the feedback!

Great!

Awesome work, I didn't really notice you were the one that created heavy terror machine :D
Only thing I could give as criticism is that the buildup could use a little more, it sounds pretty empty. Now it could be that you've already tried to put stuff there and it didn't work, but it's just a suggestion to fill it up some more :D
Anyway, excellent work, you deserve a spot in the top five! :D

Awesome-teh-bawesome

Great, the mastering, the synths, the panning, oh god the panning! :D
I loved it, it's great.
I'd love to see the end result of this :D

Or4nges responds:

Thanks man! Good to hear from you again :D
I'll letcha know when it's done

Nice!

After looking through your recent audio, I must say, this is excellent! :D
The great simple sound of the beat, the ambience in the pads, the nice caribbean bells, the subtle bass. Great sound! I think this deserves more than a score of 4.24! :D (and more than 78 views)
Great job man! Keep it up, I really loved it!

wow.
That means a lot man. I really appreciate this review.
I don't like to spam or "sell out" but i mean you can just tell people about me. I would love if one of my tracks made it to an animation or flash game =]
Man this great compliments coming especially from you ( your talented man).
Glad you liked it =]

Few things here

Great song, honestly, I really like it. Great melodies, Nice use of filtering, nice and upbeat, good variation. I loved the outro I just heard. A few things to it though. I loved the outro I just heard.

I'd definately call this dance instead of trance. But of course, I'm not that much of a genre-whore, so that's not why I don't give you the full 10 stars.

Something I noticed here in your song (and in lots of others) is the fact that you use the same percussion for the breakbeat in the intro as for the rest of the song. But a dance-ish drumkick isn't very suited for a breakbeat drumpattern. I recommend taking completely other percussion next to your 'dance percussion' just for the breakbeat. You can give it a much nicer sound with a more compact and a little softer kick, along with a more breakbeat-y snare. It would give a much more professional impression in the intro, and mind that that's the first impression that listeners will take from your song, so it has to sound good.

Anyway, I've talked for too long, overall, despite your slightly cheesy chords (which are pretty essential for dance) and the breakbeat in the intro, it had great synths, beats, use of filtering and breaks, breakdowns, structure and a good use of effects. I really liked it.
Keep it up man! It sounds great!

i will improve as long as you keep up the reviews, because they are very helpful ^.^

i will keep in mind the intro breakbeat thing for future songs :3
but i cannot help the cheesy chords, because its just the style of music i like to make.

ty again.

Hmmmmnnnggggg

You did a great job here, nice mastering, but there's one thing that's been bothering me, and that is your last chord you use in the chorus, because originally it's not the same as the verses.
The last chord has to be A major, where you use a C major chord, which makes the last notes of the vocals sound extremely, well, not nice. Would be great if you fixed that :D

Technosaur responds:

Will get right on that. Thank you so much!

Soothing ._.

Great sound man, the hihat sounded a tad generic, but the vocal slicing was really amazing man! Those chord hits were really chilling, I loved it.
Great work man, keep it up! :D

Stavier responds:

Yeah, I know what you mean by generic. I tried making a more build-up slicing with the vocals, but it didn't turn out right plus even if I did, it would ruin how soothing this song is & make it seem like it'd be more extreme. Glad you liked the chords. They're actually Rhodes with a liquid FX to it. Thanx for the review!!!

Great!

Nice job, I liked that dreamy lead effect thing in the first choruses, it really improved the atmosphere. I totally loved the breakdown, it sounded really trancey, I loved that.
The best thing was that your chords were dancey, but totally not cheesy or overused, best thing ever :D
Anyway, I loved the song, you're improving really fast!
Great job, keep it up! :D

Stavier responds:

Yeah, I used that pad in the intro for that kinda FX where you're gonna listen to this dreamy song. Really glad you liked the break, I tried makin' somethin' dark trancey there. I made sure the chord progression was nice & not total crap as I have been using less in my songs, but still have a lot. I'm also really glad that my filtering FX is getting better. Thanx you for the review & kind words!!!

I love your sound

I really love your basslines, they all sound great.
The whole song sounds great, but there's just one thing I've noticed in all of your songs that's really been bothering me.
Your intro's always have the beat, but filtered. Especially because it's low-pass, your lower frequencies are way too loud, sucking up the rest of the sound. And in my honest opinion I really don't like introducing the beat with a filter. You could try adding a softer kicksnare pattern, different from the one in the drop, to make the drop sound heavier.
I'll just be completely honest, everytime I listen to one of your songs, I keep thinking 'I hope he didn't use that technique again', and then I'm rather disappointed hearing you did. But I'm really glad you make it up after that, because the rest of your songs keep amazing me :]
I'm kind of being a nitpicking bastard here, but you could make so much more of an impression with your intros. I still love your work man :D
5/5, keep it up! :D

Great!

Awesome melodies, that's for one.
I loved your synths, your orchestra was really nice. Is that Soundfont or VST?
Oh, wait.. YAAAY, YAAAY, YAA-Y-Y-Y-YAAAY :D
I love your solos, they sound great.
Great work man, keep it up :D:D

DJ-Babokon responds:

Thank you! My orchestra sounds are from a vst called Edirol Orchestral. Oh hold on a sec... YAH-YAH-Y-Y-YAY-YAY-YAH-YAH. ;D

I'm an amateur producer that loves melodic music! :D I don't actually give a crap if your mastering is half-assed, as long as it's audible and it's made with some good knowledge of music! :D However, awesome mastering is always a nice extra, right? :D
