What does mine ear hear? I really am fond of these deep sounds.
I guess that's why it's called deep trance :D
Great mastering, especially the beats, and the mixing was just fine :D
You're right about the ending, but it's no bother :D
Great job!

djInTheDark responds:

Yeah, I'll have to do something about it eventually. But I don't really feel like it. ;)

Thanks for the review!

Powerful

Finally, some powerful sound! :D
After hearing a lot of shitty preset crap, this saved me! :D
I like the drums, they're nice and punchy, this sounded a bit more like techno to me, but I won't be bitchin about the genre.
Great song, keep it up! :D

A, sort of B and sort of C

In my opinion, the Bass could have a little more low frequency, to give it a more phat effect. Not the high wobble at the end of the loop, of course :]
The snare needs a bit more lower frequency (as well) in my opinion, and has to be a little shorter and stronger. I'm sure I'm not the only one, I like my snares firm and not too 'psshh'. I don't know if it's reverb, but It could be a little shorter.
The bassdrum is indeed nice and poppy, but it could use a little more low frequencies and slightly more volume to make it more punchy. (Don't know if you want punchy, poppy or both :P)
Well, these are just my suggestions. I think I might buy it sooner or later, now I've made my first step into the genre :P
Nonetheless, you've made a good choice :D

mr-jazzman responds:

Thanks for the input! Yeah, I've discovered when it comes to snares that it's more personal preference, I think. I've been experimenting with combining acoustic snare samples with my electronica ones, and the result is a little strange but works in some cases. "Pshhhh" I think is good in intro phases for the most part, where you need more ambiance, but a clippy sort of snare is what you need in the body as you suggest, and that's good. The hardest part of low frequencies is getting them to blend properly; sidechaining helps, but is not the end all be all. Levels are more important in my opinion. I'll see what I can do in my future projects! =D Thanks again for the input!

Yeah!

Oooooh, the sub on this one! Me like! :D
The open hihat at 1:24 could use some EQ in my honest opinion, it sounds a bit too generic. As for the rest of the song, awesome work. I really liked the pads, and most of all, the percussion.
Keep it going, man! :D

Or4nges responds:

I agree. Thanks for the criticism, i'll be sure to include the EQing. I completely agree on it.

Btw, the choir wasn't a pad, it was a soundfont. Dunno which though, found it a while back.

Why, you say?

Simply because it's awesome.
Cool synths, nice remix :D (one of all 1000 here ;P)
In my opinion the beat could be a little louder, especially the kick.
But, it's still a great song :D

Nice!!

It's great! The drums sound really good, and it's got a nice electro feel to it :D
At first I expected a warm soothing dance song, after seeing 'the perfect match' in the dance category. But it was bettah! :D
Nice dirty bass, cool buildup, and a unique sound.
Keep it up, you've got some great work here!

Assios responds:

Thanks! Glad you liked it :)

Relaxing :D

Great beats, and in combination with the piano and pads, it sounds great! :D
Nice work!

djInTheDark responds:

Glad you like it, thanks for the review!

Nice atmosphere!

The soft drums really created some tension :D
I love how you brought some tension to this song.
Keep it up man! :D

KatzuyaSagara responds:

Thanks!
I really thought which instruments I had to use for this one.
Really thanks for the support, I'll be better and make more songs.

Nice atmosphere

It's really cool, and the instruments sound great.
The thing I liked the most is the fact that the piano sounded really natural, I like it when people pay attention to the velocity of their piano notes :D
Great job, keep it up! :D
5/5

KillaRemix responds:

Thanksvery much, That's what I was going for!!

Might wanna turn your volume down :]

It's a great remix, it sounds awesome :D
I liked the nice punchy percussion. I really love the melodies, I'm not that familiar with sonic VGM, but this was great :D
Keep it up, man!

I'm an amateur producer that loves melodic music! :D I don't actually give a crap if your mastering is half-assed, as long as it's audible and it's made with some good knowledge of music! :D However, awesome mastering is always a nice extra, right? :D
