BUUUUUAAAAAAAAEEEE-A-A-A-A-A-AAAAAAAUUUWWAAA

That's it.
Ragequit.

Nah, jk, but I loved your basses man! Your twisted melodies and fucked up synths (in a positive way) just brought madness to a whole new level! :D
Awesome job man!

TIMarbury responds:

Thanks :D! i fucked up those synths pretty bad LOL.

Ok, you truly made it more epic.

I really love how you kicked in with the dance/trance part, just an immediate reversed kick and BAM!
Your synths were amazing, the bass, the square plucks in the end, the classic drum totally made it, everything sounded just perfect.
I wouldn't have thought you'd make it this awesome, really, and so soon!
Amazing song, I don't have any more words, I'm blown away.
5/5, Fav, DL and my awesome respect. Thanks.

Great reverb and delay

I totally love the atmosphere, you've used great instrumentation and I loved the melodies.
That drums were awesome, the vocals were really cool. I recognize the 'brace yourself' from Brace Yourself by Moleman :D
Anyway, this is great, I don't know if you should make a techno/trance part at the end, it sounds perfectly ambient. And if you do, be sure to make it trance and not to make it a banger. A really soft kick, with really minimal percussion.
Anyway, I loved it, I'm looking forward to what you're gonna do with it!

Zinitymusic responds:

haha thanks RW ;)
im really glad that you liked it!
i will follow your advice to make my next version better. ;)

Soothing

Starts out great, I like how you build up the instrumentation.
The kick is really nice, not too loud, still doesn't lack punch. I like your subtle transitions, like how you used that filter at about 2:45.
I really like the beat you used, it's kinda disco/trancey :D
Your buildoff is great, nice transitions and slowly dropping instruments.

I really enjoyed it, great and soothing, keep it up man!
And now if you'll excuse me, I'm gonna listen to your 'sex' track. Damn, I've missed that.

YakovlevArt responds:

Hey, thanks a lot for the kind words. Glad to see you you really appreciated the ambiance =]

Starts out with awesome

Great arps, I loved the way you introduced them immediately.
Your percussion sounds crisp man, only thing that could be changed a bit is the clap, you could place some EQ on them, along with some reverb.
I totally loved your breakdown, the filter was really nice and soothing.
I loved it man, Keep it up! :D

ReWired responds:

Thanks for the kind words and good advice. I started working on a new song with a much more upbeat (170bpm) kind of feel like your songs and so far I've got a pretty sick melody figured out. I hope you'll check it out and give me critique on it once I get it finished and posted.

Cheers,
-ReWired

Do you have symphonic choirs?

Or you must've gotten some people that're able to sing this epic :P
Anyway, the choir is epic man, you should finish it!
The only thing this song could use is some more work on the transitions, I didn't notice any sweeps or cymbals in the song, especially the buildup needs it :]
Anyway, I hope you finish it soon, looking forward to it :D

weemeee responds:

Well i still have to make the intro for the actual song, so when it's done there's gonna be transitions and all the traditional stuff, obviously :P. thanks for the review man.

Strangely good

The intro was weird, but the distorted percussion was amazing there.
The beats were really cool, I loved the glitchy effects.
The only thing I would recommend, is giving the piano some nice effects, especially reverb.
I loved it, keep it up man!

cheshyre responds:

Thank you!!! I've got a couple of songs in the works that also use piano, so I'll work on making them sound cooler. Thanks!

I'll tell you what I think, young man!! D:<

It's awesome! <:D
The intro bored me a little bit, but that could be the mood I'm in right now :P
Anyway, when the melody kicked in a little after 1 minute, it started to get seriously awesome :D
And I love the dubstep twist you gave it there in the middle.
The basses and the main melody are awesome. So is the rest of the song, but those are even a little more awesome :D

Waterflame responds:

Thanks man! glad you like it :D yeah the introduction might be a bit too long. thanks for the tip!

You could use some extra effects

Try adding some more effects, after you build to something, for example with a reversed cymbal, it's best if you release the sound you've built up to that point. You could use a sweep down and/or crash, just to give it more power.
You could also add more percussion. An open hihat after each kick could do wonders. Just gotta know where to place them a little.
Keep it up man! :D

DjRubix responds:

Thanks for the review always trying toi learn!

Time for some constructive criticism

At first, the song needs some perfection. It's easy to hear the sweeps and impact FX being out of place. The timing just ain't right.
Also, your main synth sounds too clutchy. The attack of the sound is really annoying, the high frequency. I recommend either removing that or changing the synth, also to something more centered, this one is a bit, sloppy. Hard to describe :P
Anyway the rest of the song was good! Great portamento lead in the intro, nice percussion, good bass, nice filtering, good buildup of tension in the intro.
Just a those few things to focus on are the main lead synth, the sweeps and impacts, and I recommend using some (more) crashes or sweeps down.
Keep it up man!

I'm an amateur producer that loves melodic music! :D I don't actually give a crap if your mastering is half-assed, as long as it's audible and it's made with some good knowledge of music! :D However, awesome mastering is always a nice extra, right? :D
